八八父親節當天，我在旅行中。我打電話問候媽媽，她說明年過年想來英國找我，然後說台灣刮颱風，不過要我不要擔心。

我回到倫敦後又繼續上班，因為醫院人事大風吹，新生兒科的醫師離職，小兒科卻多出三位醫師，我就被調去看寶寶啦！然後又在適應中。

我家的網路又斷線，也沒時間上網上課。去職訓的時候，學姐問我台灣的風災，我才發現風災很嚴重。職訓結束馬上去圖書館看新聞，看到好心痛。晚上也看到BBC報導救援行動。昨天終於有維修人員來修復，我馬上上網看Youtube的新聞，原來畫面更震撼！越看越難過。

台灣的救災活動怎麼這麼糟糕？大家沒有大災難的急救知識嗎？重點是要派人救活人開路，不是去找屍體。

政府的辦事能力也面對重大的考驗，英文既然不是第一語言，就不要愛現，專業翻譯可以幫你翻得更得體。
