Subject: good weather in my uni

Dear people,

Finally the sun has come.

I went to a tour for Burns cottage and Culzean castle yesterday and got to know some friends....but it was raining so i hope the photos may come out fine.

Not so homesick now because I have more friends. The senior house resident (warden) is from Singapore and speaks Chinese so I got the chance to practice my Chinese...but we r the only Chinese here(that is another sad story).

As my course is mostly self-study based so i will have more chance on net provided if I can get an on-line computer in the library.

the things here are veri expensive. I mean I already know that but i did not expect that textbooks for medicine is the most expensive!!!!(because they are thick!) I just bought 2 labcoats and things for dissection..Guess how much?

The total is NT$3000 or S$150!!!! I have not bought the textbooks yet but there are plenty of books i need to buy (at least 10 for year one) and each costs at least NT$1500 or S$85!!! I think I need to save money on other stuff or else I will go bankrupt within this year.

I also have not bought the cookware, fork and spoon...waiting for advice on which one to buy and also waiting for sale.

Gos bless me..the lesson has not started but i am nearly mad with all the arrangement..luckily I have solved my homesick problem temporarily.

No more complaints! I think I will get better each day!
