Dear Friends,
I want you to try this dish yourselves. Eat apple pie from McDonald's with ice cream. This is a traditional British dessert although it sounds funny. Don't think that a hot food cannot bind well with ice cream. It really tastes delicious.
I am going to an interview in University of Glasgow. But I am quite afraid that they may ask moral questions. Can you give me some advice on the following questions?
- If you have a million dollar, how would you spend?
- How do you keep patient-doctor relationship?
- If your patient is suffering from a serious disease and may possibly die, will you tell him about his conditions? Do you think that his family members have the right to decide whether to tell him and why?
- If you were a health officer, will you give priority to a non-smoker and why?
- If you have 2 patients who need a kidney transplant, one is a young child and another is an old man, which one will you give and why?
- Prevention of disease and curing of disease, which one is more important?
They sound like GP questions, right? But there is no right answer.
Where is Brighton? South England, famous Gay Town in UK. There are really many les-bi-gay people here. I read a book for tourist. It says that UK has no sexual discrimination and gay people are welcome to visit
Brighton. I am going to a gay pub after the interview. The weather has been quite nice these few days. It starts to brighten at 6.50 am and darks at 5.30 PM. It was as hot as 13oC this morning and a fox came to sunbathe in my host family's garden!! It was so cute. This was the first time I saw a wild fox. It looks like a dog.
OK. That's all folks!
YIJUN
Ps: does the name 'Ariel' suit me more or 'Vicky'?
