Dear friends, 
I just finished one and half of my killer projects. I feel kind of relieved so I am typing this email to you.

Some of you admired my experience overseas. But I really envy you can stay in your own country and live with your own people. Perhaps I sound too excited when I describe my experiences. However, if I do not
know how to observe and appreciate the things beside me, I may just feel sick and bored here. 

Moreover, I take the initiative to gain more experiences such as serving in a nursing home. All of you should try to appreciate your surroundings and find things to explore. In Taiwan, I always observe (not peep secretely) the people on the trains and buses especially those aunties and uncles. I always find new types of people every time. In Singapore, there are people from various races and religions. Surely there are so many things to see. I feel so happy when I see all these people can live together harmoniously. I do not know how many essays my GP teacher can make me write from these experiences in Singapore.

Of course I have encountered many problems since I came here, but I only mentioned some in the emails. I do not put these problems in my heart so they are not worth mentioning. I have decided to apply to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. With its certificate, I can work in Ireland, Britain, Malaysia, Europe, Africa and India. Taiwan doesnot mention whether its recognised. I will go to Malaysia instead I think. 

Taiwan has made a BIG BIG news here. The result for the presidential election has enraged China. This news is even more famous than the earthquake in Taiwan. One classmate from China is suspecting the accuracy of the result. Another thing that made me feel strange was that the reporter ended the news with "so-and-so reported from China." Why didn't he say Taiwan? 

A few years back when Taiwan had its first presidential election, China was BOMBING Taiwan. My mum had sent all her savings to me. I was so so worried that I was very quiet for weeks (even before the election took place). One friend, Wong Chong, from China asked me what had happened for several times but I did not want to tell her. During one dance practice, she asked me again and then I told her. Out of my surprise, she revealed that her father was in charge of importing weapons and she knew that China did not buy any new weapons to fight with Taiwan. I hope this time China will not bomb Taiwan again.

For JingPing, if my financial problem cannot be solved, I will change course definitely.
