Nobody....Just London.

I think I am seriously falling in love with London. I arrived at my new home, or rather, new room at midnight. There were still quite a lot of people walking around the street. They were all decent looking people who seem to have finished watching musicals. Of course, beggars appeared at night but they were not as drunk as those in Glasgow. I sneaked back to the room and found myself alone in the flat. I was flat out as soon as I hit the bed even though it is not extremely comfortable.

I went to register with a GP today and found another circle of lovely shops. There are so many Italian, Spanish restaurants around. I think I will have fun trying them out. I also went to the hospital to sort out the rest of my paper work. It is only 1 pound to travel by underground or bus. It only took me 20 minutes. This is great! There is also a downside for living at such a posh area: All the shops are so expensive!

My 8 bags of luggage arrived today. Yes, my 9 years of belonging have been condensed into 3 big boxes, 3 small boxes and 2 suitcases. Most of them are books. Horrible possession! The delivery man looked at my slim figure (but I am already 48~49kg!) and helped me carried the luggage to the door of my first floor flat (2F in Taiwanese language). But my room is upstairs at second floor (3F). I carried everything upstairs myself. I finally realised that Uking means: I should get a boyfriend who can help me carry heavy stuff (PS: But I will dump him after I have finished moving house. Haha). My muscles are aching all over.

Without further a do, I went to Camden Town and looked for cheaper stores for household accessories. When I stepped out of the underground, I was amazed by the scene. Cheap clothes, cheap food! Camden Town is like Shih-Lin Night Market! It is so fun! I prefer it to Portobello Antique Market. Anyway, I manged to find cheap shops eg. Argos, Woolworth, Somerfield and get my household goods. Well, I will visit Camden again with my camera next time!

By the way, my laptop has been down and reformated. There is only English Operating System without any Office software. I still do not have the internet access at my new home yet. I will not be able to upload any photos now so please wait patiently.
