There are two Churches of St Nicolas in Prague. I have only been to this one at the Little Quarter. Building began in 1703 and finished in 1761. This is an acknowledge High Baroque masterpiece of father-and-son architects (Christopher and Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer) but neither saw its completion.
布拉格有兩座聖尼格拉教堂，我只去過在小城的這一座。它自1703年開始建造，1761年完工。它是巴洛克尖峰時期父子檔建築師Christopher and Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer最有代表性的作品，可惜兩人都無法見到它完工。

The doom was completed by Kilian in 1751, shortly before his death. The tall sharp belfry was added as the last structure in 1751~6. It houses a museum of musical instruments.
圓頂是Kilian在臨死前完工的，高塔是最後一個部份，是樂器的小博物館。

When I stepped into this church, I was totally stunned by the beauty of its interior. This is beautiful!
我ㄧ進到這座教堂，馬上被它的內部震撼了。好美麗喔！
 
The painting on the ceiling was so real. 連天花板上的壁畫都很真實

Beautiful works were made in gold and marbles. This was the first time that my both legs felt weak. Did communism not ransack this place? No one wante to damage works at churches.
金碧輝煌的黃金和大理石，我第一次感覺到雙腳無力。這不是被共產黨洗劫過嗎？沒有人敢破壞教堂的遺蹟吧

A copper statue of St Nicolas by Ignaz Platzer surmounts the high altar. Below it was the painting of St Joseph.

There were four Rococo statues of the Chuch Fathers. St. Cyril Alexandrijsky on the left of this photo dispatches the devil with his crozier. On the right of this picture was St Basil Veliký
有四座洛可可式教堂神父的雕像，圖左方的聖賽羅用權杖趕走惡魔，圖右方的是聖貝索。

Right wing was the entrance to the Belfry but it was closed for renovation again! On the left of this picture was St Basil Veliký while on the right stands St Řehoř Naziánský
右翼是進去高塔的入口，但是當時還在裝修中不開放。圖左方的是聖貝索，右方是聖日合

Left wing was the entrance to the altar on first floor. On the left of the picture was St Jan Zlatoústý, on the right was St. Cyril Alexandrijsky. These incredible statues were about 4m tall, just compared with the people in the piture. These reminds me of the four heavenly kings at Chung-Tai Temple in Taiwan.
左翼是到二樓的通道，左邊雕像是聖真，右邊是聖賽羅斯。這些雕像大約有四米高，你只要看照片裡的人比較就知道了。他們讓我想起台灣中台禪寺的四大天王
 
A fresco of St Cecilia, patron saint of music, watches over this Baroque organ. Built in 1746, it was played by Mozart in 1787.
聖希希里亞，音樂的保護聖者，注視著這巴洛克式風琴。製造於1746年，莫扎特在1787年曾在此演奏過。
 
Dating from 1765, the flamboyant pulpit was adorned with golden cherubs.
這1765年的豪華講道壇是由金制的小天使圍繞著

Looking back to where I walked past, I could only say that this was the most splendid church I have ever seen. Well, St Nicolas was known to be Santa Claus. At this festive season, may I wish a Merry Christmas to my family and friends.
轉頭回去看我剛剛走過的路，我只能說這是我看過最雄偉壯觀的教堂。聖尼格拉也是聖誕老人喔，在這個佳節，祝我的家人和朋友聖誕快樂喔！
