Ariella

This is a travel diary delicated to dear Morag who provides free accomodation, guide and companionship during my journey in Czech! I have promised to write in English but I will add Chinese for my family to read. (You don't mind me talking behind you in Chinese, Morag?)
這次的遊記要特別獻給Morag，她提供了我免費的住宿、導遊，和旅伴。除了為她特別用英文，我也會用中文讓我家人分享遊記。我和Morag開玩笑說我會用中文說她壞話，所以各位請張大眼睛看喔！

After a long transit and a delay to refill the fuel at Amsterdam, I flew to Prague (Praha). The captain announced that there were low-lying clouds above Praha but no one took note. When the flight descended through the clouds, I thought the speed of descent was unusually fast. When we broke through the clouds, we were right above the motorway and the cars look very close to the plane! The plane nearly hit the ground! I guessed we were only 5th floor high. We could feel the flight ascending again when the flight crew announced that the captain had rejected the descent. There was an abnormal atmosphere among us soI was praying very hard. Then the captain explained that the navigator at Praha Airport had mistaken our plane with another. I was so glad that the captain was very smart to spot the mistake! When I passed through the rude custom, I was so glad to see Morag who had waited for a long time. It was still misty but it was warmer than I expected.
在荷蘭漫長的轉機和等候機油後，我飛往布拉格。機長一開始預報布拉格的天氣是低雲，大家也不在意。當飛機穿越雲層降落時，我總覺得降落的速度太快了！當我們突破雲層時，我們正在高速公路上空，車子看起來好大，我想我們大約只有五層樓的高度，差一點撞上地面了！機身突然上揚，擴音器傳出『機長拒絕降落』，我們又回到雲上。乘客之間的氣氛有一點怪，我也拼命地禱告。隨後機長解釋說地面的導航裝置誤認飛機，我多麼慶幸機長的機靈。

We boarded onto the bus and then the metro. The transport system is the same in Germany, Austria and Netherlands where passengers buy and scan their own tickets. As soon as we boarded onto the metro, the ticket inspector came around an took a long look at me, my luggage and then my ticket. I think he was surprised to see me, a new arrival, speak in English and hold a proper ticket. Apparently they are quite strict with tickets and fine heavily. Therefore, tourists are always the good targets!
當我通過了不太禮貌的海關，我終於看到了等候我許久的Morag。我們搭上了公車，再轉地鐵，捷克的公共交通運輸和德、奧、荷都是信用制，也就是乘客自己買票打卡。我們上地鐵不久，就有查票員來驗票，他一直看我、我的行李，然後再看我的票。我想他大概是驚訝，我這個剛下飛機的華裔竟然會說英文會買票。據說捷克驗票比其他國家驗的勤，罰款罰的重，遊客通常都是受害者。

Morag lives at Náměstí Miru(Yes, I translated it into Milo Square for our favourite drink!), a nice area in New Town. When we climbed up from the metro station, I was so amazed to see this theatre! This was beautiful! 
Morag住在美祿廣場﹝我和Morag討論的結果是要把它翻譯成美祿﹞，是ㄧ個在新鎮的好地帶。當我們從地鐵爬上來時，我看到霧中的歌劇院，真的就覺得，捷克真美！
I slept until nearly noon to kill my headach and was surprised to see the Christmas Market opening! I was not sure if there were many thieves around so I was extremely careful with my camera. 
我頭痛所以隔天睡到將近中午，一出門就發現聖誕市集今天開市！由於耳聞扒手小偷很多，我小心翼翼地拍照。


Then this old lady came to sit down on the bench! I was planning to take a shot at the benches!
然後這一位歐巴桑就大剌剌地坐在椅子上！我本來只要照椅子的！
